If this sum is correct, what digits do A and M represent? MA + A = AM

M = ANY NUMBER
A = 0

That is assuming this problem is written correctly mathmatically where MA does indeed meen M * A. If the problem is meant to be viewed as MA is 1 number then the solution is as follows.

M = 8
A = 9

89 + 9 = 98
