You have two identical looking metal bars. One of them is a magnet, with North and South ends. The other is simply an iron bar (which is attracted by magnets).
How can you tell which is which, using only these two bars?
You have two metal bars that look alike. One is a manget, and the other is iron. Ok. So what happens if you hold one a small space from the other? Smack. It exerts a pull. What if you bent or broke one so that you could find out which one was exerting the pull. Let's say you bent one and placed the other in the direct middle. The pull would be disrupted there if the bent one was the magnet, so the ends would pull towards the other one? Mebe?
