What comes next in the following non-mathematical sequence?
89, 47, 13, 95, 18, 33, 85, 79, 5, 56, 4, 97, ...

No clue.
The only thing I could come up with is that element 107, bohrium, was
originally named neilsbohrium by the ACS over objections from IUPAC and
was given the symbol Ns. The dispute was finally resolved and the name
was agreed to be bohrium, with the symbol Bh, but if you're referring
to the old ACS notation, then that would explain why 107 is not between
4 and 97 in the sequence.
But, I searched all around for any alternate names for bismuth (Bi--83)
and berkelium (Bk--97) that would result in bismuth coming after
berkelium, and I couldn't find anything, so I have no idea...
