You have two identical looking metal bars. One of them is a magnet, with North and South ends. The other is simply an iron bar (which is attracted by magnets).

How can you tell which is which, using only these two bars?

Well the answer lies in the fact the MAGNETS are NEUTRAL at the center.

Hold the two metal bars perpendicular to each other. ANd then swap them. The one that is attracted towards the center of the other is the magnet.
