Several years ago, I read in a magazine one riddle in French : "Je suis le chief de vingt-cinq soldats. Sans moi, Paris sera pris", which in English is : "I'm the leader of twenty five soldiers. Without me, Paris will be taken".
Translated into English or Portuguese (my idiom), the riddle is far from being solved, because the answer was the letter "a" ("sans moi (without me), Paris sera pris").
When I read in this riddle "army of millions black ants", imediatelly I remembered that riddle in French, and made the association with letters. The rest followed, until the three "Divisions"..."Three books".
I started to thinking in the trilogies that I know. The first was "Indiana Jones" and the second was "Star Trek", but neither of the two, as long as I know, were based in books.
Commenting with my son, the told me about "The Lord of the Rings", that I knew, but didn't read nor see the movies, neither him.
In fact, I just don't know what means the "One" at the end. I thought that possibly could be an entity (since it is writen with a starting capital letter) or "One whole history".
Even iff my guess is right, I think that it must not be considered, because I didn't explain what is "one", unless it is "One whole history".
