Jon is Lorraine's brother,
Diane married Jon,
Diane is John's sister,
Lorraine married John,
Diane and Jon had seven grandchildren,
Diane and Jon had three children.
Lorraine and John had two children,
Lorraine and John had seven grandchildren.
Ricardo, one of Diane and Jon's children, and a cousin to Lorna-jane and Frasier, did not marry or have any children.
Diane and Jon had two other children - Juan and Suzi.
Lorraine and John had 2 children - Lorna-jane and Frasier.
Lorna-Jane married Juan and had 4 children,
Frasier married Suzi and had 3 children.
Lorraine and John had twins.
Frasier and Juan were cousins.
Suzi and Lorna-Jane were cousins.
Ricardo had a sister,
Lorna-Jane had a brother,
Frazier had a sister, Suzi had 2 brothers.
For the above relationships to exist, How many were there, grandparents, parents, children, cousins and siblings in all?
It's twenty three, bc, there are four people originally...
Diane and John = Brother & Sister
Jon and Lorraine = Brother & sister
now if they get married, there is still only four people...
Diane, Jon...Lorraine, John...
The "tricky" part comes when they separate Diane and Jon's Children to
try to confuse you. Originally they tell you that they had THREE
children. That's waht you focus on. The names are almost
inconsequential. Anyway, so before you go to the other couple, you
assess this couple.
In a later line it calls Ricardo one of Diane and Jons Children, and
later it says that the other two were Juan and Suzi, but it doesn't
change any relationship, it's still only three children...
So as of so far you have:
Diane, Jon, Juan, Suzi, Ricardo, John, and Lorraine
Then you asses the next couple's children...
John and lorraien had two Children...Which later you find are Lorna-Jane and Frazier.
This leaves us with:
Dianne, Jon, Juan, Suzi, Ricardo, John, Lorraien, Lorna-Jane, and Frazier.
Now John and Lorraine only had seven grandchildren, so when they start
dividing them among the children you don't have to worry about it.
so you have:
Dianne, jon, Juan, Suzi, Ricardo, John, Lorraine, Lorna-Jane, Frazier, and (7 Grandkids)
But...diane and John also have seven grandkids, whom are unnamed, so we will just count them
So you have this as your total:
Diane, Jon, Juan, Suzi, Ricardo, John, Lorraine, Lorna-Jane, Frazier, and 7 grandkids plus 7 grandkids
7 grandkids + 7 grandkids = 14 grandkids
There are nine other people
14 + 9 = 23
so there are 23 people NEEDED to fufill the relations
