Jon is Lorraine's brother,
Diane married Jon,
Diane is John's sister,
Lorraine married John,
Diane and Jon had seven grandchildren,
Diane and Jon had three children.
Lorraine and John had two children,
Lorraine and John had seven grandchildren.
Ricardo, one of Diane and Jon's children, and a cousin to Lorna-jane and Frasier, did not marry or have any children.
Diane and Jon had two other children - Juan and Suzi.
Lorraine and John had 2 children - Lorna-jane and Frasier.
Lorna-Jane married Juan and had 4 children,
Frasier married Suzi and had 3 children.
Lorraine and John had twins.
Frasier and Juan were cousins.
Suzi and Lorna-Jane were cousins.
Ricardo had a sister,
Lorna-Jane had a brother,
Frazier had a sister, Suzi had 2 brothers.
For the above relationships to exist, How many were there, grandparents, parents, children, cousins and siblings in all?
In order for this solution that i said to be true you end up with relationships like this:
Grandparents= 4
Parents= 8, but the thing is that four of them are grandparents, and
you don't count them as people twice, so for the sake of reason we'll
say that there are
4.
Real number: 4
Kids= 5, but one of them doesnt procreate at all, this being Ricardo,
poor guy, and the rest were already counted as parents, now although
they are children of the grandparents, the only child not accounted for
is really ricardo. so the real number of children NOT previously
counted is
one Real
number: 1
Grandchildren= 14 (two sets of seven)
now when you add the 4 + 4 + 1 + 14 you get 23. The dirtiness is that
there was some MAD incest going on between cousins here. Like the fact
that these people's children are getting it on is rather disturbing,
but there are only 23 people.
