What is the 1000th digit to the right of the decimal point in the decimal representation of (1+√2)^3000?

This problem can be solved by algebra alone, without the need for computers or calculators

wonder if i'm bored enough  to compute it written tho...
one stupid mistake will plunder hundreds of hours into wasted time....hahahahaha

and w/ that calculator of jer's...GEEZZ~!! hahaha
i dn't even wanna count...i'm just gonna take it and stick it into word and have it count the Chars for me =P ahhaha
