One solution of the equation
(x-a)(x-b)(x-c)(x-d)=25
is x=7.
If a, b, c, and d are different integers, find the value of a+b+c+d
The only ways you can make 25 with 4 integers is:
1x1x1x25, -1x-1x1x25, -1x1x1x-25 and
1x1x5x5, 1x-5x1x-5, 1x-1x5x-5
Putting these into the equation only give one solution with different values for a,b,c & d which is the last one (1x-1x5x-5) giving a=6, b=8, c=2, d=13 and the value of a+b+c+d=29
