"Go," said the gorilla. "no," said the Octopus
If the message above contains a code that reads, "Go," what is the secret message below?
in an igloo saT leaf. He said "i want make bIgger opening, big like van." So he asked sIx elves to help him. "we will help if you give uS tea to driNk and hats tO keep warm." "okay" said the eskimo. as he Traveled, he met a cat. "gIve me an apple" she said. "why? don'T you eat rats?" he asked. "no," she hissed. "dogs do." to make up for This, he invited heR to staY in his igloo thAt niGht and bought her ten Apples. leaf left and walked away Into the suNset.
There are two hidden messages in this code. The more obvious message, which is derived by taking all capital letters, is meant to deceive anyone trying to intercept the message. The real hidden message is derived by taking the first letter from each noun (personal pronouns are not considered nouns for this code).
In the first clue there are several ways of getting "go" from the sentence, but the correct way is by taking the first letters from the nouns 'gorilla' and 'octopus'.
The nouns in the text are:
Igloo
Leaf
Opening
Van
Elves
Tea
Hats
Eskimo
Cat
Apple
Rats
Dogs
Igloo
Night
Apples
Leaf
Sunset
As you can see, the hidden message is seriously flawed because everybody knows the best football team are the Cleveland Browns.
