Twice ten are six of us,
Six are but three of us,
Nine are but four of us;
What can we possibly be?
Would you know more of us,
Twelve are but six of us,
Five are but four, do you see?

I am sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it is not refering to prime numbers. The numbers that I have noticed are 10, 20, 6, 6, 3, 9, 4, 12, 6, 5, and 4; most of these are not prime. The only primes that are in that list are 3, and 5. Therefore it can't be referring to prime numbers.
