I've a chessboard of side 80cm.
You've a coin of diameter 2cm, and you throw it on to the chessboard. The center of the coin falls somewhere on the chessboard.
What is the likelihood that the coin is completely within a white square?

re(3): Dumb Question by Charlie)
As this is an old problem, noone will likely respond to this, but doesn't paragraph three state the coin must lie completely within a white square. If it hangs over the edge it does not lie completely within the white square.???? Or am I wrong?
