Find the smallest number such that if its rightmost digit is placed at its left end, the new number so formed is precisely 50% larger than the original number.
Hind sight is 20/20. You would not immediately assume this to be the case, but after you realize that the solution placed after the decimal place is .285714 or 2/7 (If you annex the repeating digits) and then switch the digits as described .428571 or 3/7 (digits annexed). It is easy to see that the latter is 50% gretaer than the former. x/7 is the same digits repeated in order with a different starting digit.
