One solution of the equation (x-a)(x-b)(x-c)(x-d)=25 is x=7.

If a, b, c, and d are different integers, find the value of a+b+c+d

this can b solved by an eighth grade student

ofcourse if a,b,c,d are all integers so are 7-a,7-b,7-c and 7-d

further to get product of four integers as 25 with all a,b,c,d being distinct can only be

a,b,c,d = 6,8,12,2 (map ne 1 with ne 1 )

-1 x 1 x -5 x 5 =25

         by the way sum is 28 , grrrrrrr  real time waste
