You have a square glass panel with 24 cm sides and a ring with 5 cm internal diameter.
Cut the glass in 4 identical pieces such that you can slide them through the ring.

I think any U cut-out it's OK because u don't have to pass  it through the ring all at once.

Let's say that you pose the U horizontaly. You first pass the lower part then switch it veretically pass this part too and the then switch it  back to pass the last part
