Millions of black ants:
The army marches forward
in thousands of platoons;
In six brigades;
In three divisions;
All towards the One.

maybe the black ants are referring to all living things they ahave different groups (e.g. species, beliefs) the three divisions could be plants, animals and people (people are technically animals but for some reason we seem to think we are better tahn everybody else) and we all march to the end of our lives or the end of the world.
