How many ways can you find to make exactly 1000 with eight eights? You can only add, subtract, multiply, divide, use exponents and parentheses, and you can't use any number except 8.

Three ways

888+88+8+8+8=1000
(8+(8+8)/8)^((8+8+8)/8)=1000
(8x8x8+88-88)₈=1000
The last one could also be
(8x8x8+8x(8-8))=1000₈
