A normal house was built, with 4 walls and a roof. But each wall had a southern exposure. A bear comes up to the window. What color is the bear and why?

Clearly the answer was meant to be white because it is a polar bear.  However, it could possibly be an extremely lost black bear looking into the window because he is searching for shelter because he is not usd to the cold.
