The position below was achieved in a normal chess game, and there are no other pieces left on the board with the exception of the white King. Where is the white King? How was this position achieved?

There is a way out-- the black king is in check, because the white king was in B3, and just moved, to A3 or C3.
But... if the king was in B3, it would have been in double check. How could this be?
There is a solution, involving a not very usual move!
