Five squares are made up from the 16 sticks below:

Move just two of the sticks without disturbing or overlapping the other 14 sticks to make only 4 identical squares, still using all 16 sticks.

Yes, I realise that my drawing is your solution.  I found it messy trying to explain which sticks to shift and to where; "a picture is (often) better than a thousand words".
