A naughty tongue shot at the SUN,
hit 2 birds, and brought down 1.
The secret the world would beg to know,

What is it?

I'm tempted to think this might refer to a lawsuit against the SUN tabloid - maybe they pressed 2 charges, but only got 1 through the process. 

Why a "naughty tongue"  is it someone who said something?  Or someone having an affair?

Also, on a completely different note, I ran a search on "sun and birds" and of course came up with information on SunBirds, the Phoenix, and Egyptian myths.  If that takes anyone into a better place to find the solution, then yay.
