A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. Late for another appointment, he then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning.
Why did the man not die?
I think that the answer is that the poison was in ice cubes in the punch. Given that the man drank the punch quickly and left, this gave no time for the ice cubes to melt and thus poison him.
