What is the maximum proportion of space that can be filled with an infinite number of identical spheres?
Well, I think it all comes down to coming up with an equation that relates the radius of each sphere, the volume of the spheres (related obviously to the radius) and the lengths of a cube (representing space).
OR technically, since the problem doesn't state what is the radius of the sphere... we can say that the sphere is a point. That way, you can fill space entirely, and the answer would be 100%.
Anyone have any other ideas?
