Note : Think about the number of letters in some 'Numerical' (but English) words.

I think it has to do with the number of letters in a word:

4  can be FOUR, FIVE, NINE
3 can be  ONE, TWO, SIX, TEN
5 can be Well you get the idea

Only problem is that it doesn't seem to bring a solution within sight.
