Note : Think about the number of letters in some 'Numerical' (but English) words.

They almost fit the number of letters in each integer not belonging to the Fibonacci series...

starting with 4,6,7,9,10,11,12,14,15,16...

The 12 messes it up though. Oh well...back to the drawing board.
