Reaching stiffly for the sky,
I bare my fingers when it's cold
In warmth I wear an emerald glove
And in between I dress in gold

Also, trees with upword apical dominace works 
best since their 'fingers' are gathered primarily
towards the top of the tree--but I suppose we
don't need to get too technical.  (Darn it!)
