Only one colour, but not one size,
Stuck on the bottom, but easily flies,
Present in sun, but not in rain,
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain

The answer is obvious a shadow,
it's always black,the closer to the sun you are the bigger it gets,
the sun shows it, the rain clouds hide it,
can't hurt anything, it doesn't have nerves so it can feel pain.
