There is an advantage (admittedly an extremely slight advantage) to working it out my way rather than Ender's.

To use Ender's method you need to know Trig, or at least remember the relative lengths of the sides in a 30-60-90 triangle. Using my method, all you need to remember is the Pythagorean Theorem (a^2 + b^2 = c^2).
