A case of misguided sheep. (Posted on 2006-06-23) Difficulty: 3 of 5
I am a plateau, holding forty-two sheep.

The sheep are held in six sets of seven. The first, third, fourth, fifth and seventh sheep are black. The remaining two are white.

Someone using me to my full potential can even cause people to cry.

What am I?

This riddle should strike a chord with people with similar interests as me. I write this with plenty of strings attached.

In the first response to this riddle I made mention of David.

Some information exists here:

http://www.contemplator.com/wales/davidwr.html

David called for the harp which he adored. He wished to play it just once more before his death.

wikipedia - harps also gives some info, just need to shuffle Jack's order around to get the colours of the C and F strings. (see my reply to OOO.

But still, as Dej Mar notes, we probably still need Jack to tell us what breed of harp.

Interesting thought too, Dej Mar, gut strings! Let's play tennis!
