An object is sliding from top of a ball to the ground. This object starts from rest and slides without friction. At what height will the object get apart from the ball's surface if the radius of the ball is r meters?
Is the ball nailed to the ground?
As the object slides down the ball some of it's energy will push the ball away. Assuming there is no friction the ball will slide in the opposite direction to the motion of the object. I'm guessing this would change the solution?
