The author asserted that the probability of the event in question was approximately

(1 - 10-21)1025

How small is this number?

Good question, as for an answer, there isn't one except it was a screw up.

(1 - .000000000000000000001)^(10^25)

(.999999999999999999999)^10000000000000000000000000

Anyone got a monkey that knows how to do math for bananas???  :)
