This is an interesting generalization. I never contemplated fractional or even imaginary bananas. After having mused over this concept a little more, I tried to figure out what would happen if one equally divided 3 real and 3 imaginary bananas between 2 real and 4 imaginary monkeys. To my horror I arrived at 2 different solutions, which definitely can't be right! Did I stumble upon a new paradox??? Please help!
