Corker (Posted on 2006-10-02) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Take a glass that is partially filled with water and drop a cork into it. The cork won't float in the center, but keeps drifting to one side and attaching itself to the side of the glass.

Without swirling the water, how can you make the cork float in the center?

(In reply to Cheerios by Jer)

Cheerios had me wondering.  A competing company markets "Fruit Loops" in my neck of the woods.

As kids we would buy "cheerios" from our butcher shops or delicatessens.  These were what are marketed here as "cocktail frankfurts" being about the length of an index finger (unless you have big hands).

I knew you wouldn't be adding milk to these!  Thank heavens for search engines!
