Shuffled Cards (Posted on 2003-03-22) Difficulty: 2 of 5
2 people each shuffle a deck of 52 playing cards thoroughly.

What is the probabilty of both decks being in the EXACT same order after shuffling?

Hints/Tips premutations | Comment 2 of 11 |
well i'm only in gr.9 but i think i recall my brother talking about premutations. so i think the answer would go alongs the lines of (52x51x50.....x2) This would give you the total number of combinations possible. now multiply that number by another series of (52x51x50.....x2) for the other deck. then there would be a (52x51x50...x2) in (52x51x50....x2x52x51x50.....x2) chance. Am i missing something. not to sure if this is right.
