Using only half of a chess board you may place five queens anywhere. After you place them, I move each queen at most once with standard queen moves. If I make a horizontal five-in-a-row, I win. Can you beat me?
How about [A8, B1, B3, C8, D1]?
By placing all the queens in white squares, you force your opponent to move at least 2 queens horizontally or vertically, but since the queens are at opposite ends and on different rows, the opponent can't manage this. At least that's what it looks like to me after a few minutes of looking at this.
