These numbers are perfect squares, with the digits in the tens and ones place switched around.

The first nine perfect squares are:
01, 04, 09, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81.

So the sequence goes:
10, 40, 90, 61, 52, 63, 94, 46, 18
