The areas of three faces of a cuboid box of chocolates are 120cm², 80cm² and 96cm². What is the volume of the box?

Consider sides x, y, & z.

xy = 120
yz = 80
xz = 96

From the Equation 1, y = 120/x
From Equation 2, z = 80/y = (2x)/3
From Equation 3, x * (2x)/3 = 96   or  x² = 144

Therefore, x = 12, y = 10, z = 8.

Total volume = 0.96 L.
