. . . of babes (Posted on 2007-03-05) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Moonlight in the gloomy night of life.
I can soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak.
Life would be an error without me.
And I separate the generations.

I express the inexpressible.
The art most nigh to tears and memory.
On which silence is impossible.
I am the shorthand of emotion.

I should strike fire from the heart of man
and a woman I should bring to tears.
Only I can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.
The speech of angels.

Dreams

Moonlight in the gloomy night of life – Dreams can be soothing

I can soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak – Anything can happen in a dream

And I separate the generations – Each generation has a separate dream (Aspirations)

I express the inexpressible – Dreams are made of 'inexpressible' events

I am the shorthand of emotion – Dreams convey a lot of emotions, subtly

I should strike fire from the heart of man and a woman I should bring to tears – Dreams can encourage / Can be emotional

Only I can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable / The speech of angels – Dreams could be Psychic
