Since, by the problem, each of the letters A, B, C, D and E MUST be different, it follows that A=B=C=D=E=0 is a contradiction and cannot be a solution to the given problem.
Consequently, there is only one solution to the given problem, that is:
26*1.04 = 26 + 1.04
