What is it, that gets wetter as it dries?

We are looking for an object which gets more "wet" in the dry-up process.

So, we are looking for an object which either soaks up the moisture, or produces water by way of melting process.

Consequently, either a towel or ice satisfy all the conditions of the puzzle.
