In this short set of numbers two do not belong:
1, 16, 64, 512, 4096, 46656, 1000000, 2985984
Why?
The numbers which belong have two special properties. Those not conforming have one of these which is not the same for each of them.
Guess I was a bit hasty. 16 and 512 still do not belong. The rule that connects the others is that you can take the cube root of the number and get an integer, and the the squire root of that result and get an integer. OR, you can reverse the order and still get integers along the way.
