Each row, column and long diagonal contains two reds, two blues and two whites.

From the clues given below, can you complete the grid?

Across
1. Both the reds are somewhere to the left of both the whites.
2. Both the blues are somewhere to the right of both the reds.
3. The reds are adjacent.
4. Both the whites are to the right of the reds and blues.
5. The blues are adjacent.
6. Both the whites are somewhere to the left of both the blues.

Down
A. Both the whites are somewhere below both the blues.
B. Each red is immediately above a white.
C. There are no reds or whites in the outer cells.
D. No clue for this one.
E. The pattern (order) of colours in the upper three cells is repeated in the lower three.
F. No clue for this one.

Well I forgot and tried to paste from Excel.  (Can we get it changed to allow comments to be pasted in html? or would that even fix my problem? huh?)

I am feeling rather lazy and do not wish to recopy my valid solution as it is already posted.

I will add that I too, like Nikki said in her solution monologue, missed the clue about the long diagonal and so was stuck for a bit.

I do not at all doubt clue 5 was unnecessary although I used it.  I just put a grid in Excel and kept crossing out colors and revisiting clues until the unique solution appeared.
