This is a bar bet. You bet another player "You cannot beat me at Poker even if we pick our hands out of a faceup deck, and you pick first."
The rules:
* First, a player picks five cards from the face up deck.
* Then, the other player picks five of the remaining cards.
* Suits are all ranked the same
* There is one draw phase where either player may get new cards.
QUESTION 1: How can you win your bet if the other player goes first, and picks a Royal Flush (10-J-Q-K-A of the same suit) as most people would?
QUESTION 2: How can you win your bet if you go first?
The previous post seems correct.
I'm just thinking of whether the person who goes fist actually can get a better hand. I don't think it is possible to do so.
Strategy: Person 1 picks AAAAK thinking they can get the royal flush in the draw.
Person 2 counters KKKQQ (One queen in the same suit as person 1's king.)
Person 1 cannot get the royal flush and can't keep person 2 from getting a king high straight flush while still geting a straight flush.
