Three people left 3 different trails. We give you here the start and the ends of each one of the people (you don’t know who ended where). We also give you how many times each one of the people has turned up, down, right or left and how many times each one of the people get into an intersection that someone else has also passed.
A: north 5, south 1, east 3, west 2, crosses 9
B: north 5, south 0, east 2, west 2, crosses 8
C: north 6, south 1, east 2, west 4, crosses 9
Can you reconstruct the three trails?

As a prepublishing advisor it would be inappropriate for me to offer a solution.
I have seen a solution that is consistent with the data. Being some time ago I cannot actually vouch that the author claimed that there was only one solution but I believe that was the case.
