While walking down a country road near his home, Clem Kadiddlehopper saw a murder.
He calmly continued on his way, without bothering to notify the police.
Why not?
Because the police aren't particularly interested in ornithology!
Murder is the collective pronoun for crows. Clem saw a murder of crows and in the next field he could well have seen a flock of sheep.
Let's just hope that Clem doesn't work with a boredom of accountants or a confusion of planners.
