How many perplexii can you have and still not be able to make change for a 100 perplexii coin?

The answer is 143 perplexii (You could have 1 50, 4 20's, 1 5, and 4 2's,), since no collection of coins (out of the coins of various denominations summing to 143 p) can add up to 100.
