White as snow or a multicolored hue.
Floating around or stuck to one's shoe.
Flying true, or falling slow,
unknown directions that are easily shown.
Silent and light,
and causes no fright.
Just a bit of wind,
and I go flying with a friend.

I think the best answer is snow, except for the first line "White as snow".  One usually wouldn't describe snow as being white as snow (but it's not inaccurate).

Feather is quite a good answer also.
