I don't seem to have my original wording but my intent was that from a given base there existed a series of 5 triples to fulfill the problem's requirements. Unfortunately the loss of that word "series" has somewhat compromised my proposal.
In terms of these valuesonly one of the extraneous values offered would form a series, but would be outside the 3 digit requirement.

I'm posting my original solution, but ... I am noting two things:
1. Before his edit of his prior comment he had a list of 7 possibles.
2. During my compliaion/revision of solution I noted a change had occured in his response.
Find all of the above addressed in the posted solution.
