Here is a cool sequence.
1,2,12,288,34560,________...
What goes in the blank?
Let the first number of the sequence be taken as 1.
Now, the next number will be 1 multiplied by (2!), which is equal to 2.
The third number will be equal to 2 multiplied by (3!), which is equal to 12.
The fourth number will be equal to 12 multiplied by (4!), which is equal to 288.
The fifth number will be equal to 288 multiplied by (5!), which is equal to 34560.
So we see that the 'N'th number of the sequence is obtained by multiplying the '(N-1)'st number by (N!), that is N factorial.
Therfore the next number of the sequence has to be equal to 34560 multiplied by (6!), which will give us the result 24883200.
Isn't this correct ?
