Let ABCDE be a convex pentagon such that the
triangles ABC, ACD, and ADE are similar.
The diagonals BD and CE intersect in point P.

Prove that the ray AP bisects side CD.

I have now worked this out. The figure has to be drawn so that angles:

  • ABC = ACD = ADE
  • BAC = CAD = DAE
  • ACB = ADC = AED

The puzzle then 'works'.

No doublt Bractals will be swift to pick up any typos in the above!
